Details
The history of the Falcone cantuccio takes us back to the early 1900s, to the life of the peasants of Abruzzo, when the farmers began to bake and eat them. It was usual during the most important periods of the year to dip special almonds biscuit called "Li Biscutt' tajate a man" (wich means the hand cut biscuits) into Hot wine. Instead, the amaretti are soft cookies with a friable crust and cracks on the surface. Inside a fragrant little delicacy, in wich the persistent, an unmistakable bitter note of the apricot kernel blens smoothly with the classic sweet flavor of the almonds.
